Lana Del Rey is playing no games nor holding anything back in her short film. Tropico is a tale of redemption told to the music of three songs off The Paradise Edition of Born To Die ; ‘Body Electric’, ‘Gods and Monsters’ and ‘Bel Air.’

In the film she addresses spirituality, sexuality, poverty, objectification, love, sin, sex, lust, violence, innocence and everything else you can probably think of. Tropico was written by Lana Del Rey and directed by Anthony Mandler.
