Imogen is still hard at work on her ambitious new album, recording a new song every few months with help over the internet from her fans. The latest heapsong, heapsong6, now know as 'Me the Machine', still hasn't been released and might not be until the album is out.
Last month Imogen performed at Google’s annual invitation-only Zeitgeist conference which is a forum for "great minds of our time" to address issues ranging from to politics technology to the arts. Watch Imogen introduce and perform her song 'Lifeline'.

Bat For Lashes Announces New Album, 'The Haunted Man'
The Haunted Man, the first album from Bat For Lashes in three years, will be released on October 22nd. Following a summer of live festival shows and to coincide with the release of the new album, a full UK tour has also been announced for the Autumn.

Tori Amos Announces New Album, 'Gold Dust'
Tori will be re-imagining a personally hand-picked collection of songs spanning her entire catalogue with her thirteenth studio album, Gold Dust, due for release this October. Produced by Tori herself, with arrangements by long-time collaborator John Philip Shenale, the new album features re-workings of songs in orchestral settings, which Tori recorded in the studio with the renowned Metropole Orchestra, conducted by Jules Buckley.
Confirmed songs: Flavor, Silent All These Years, Precious Things, Jackie's Strength, Winter, Snow Cherries From France, and Gold Dust (that last one is just a hunch ;).

"My relationship with all of these songs has changed over the years and they have changed my life. So it wasn't just about capturing the past it was about realizing that the songs had a new narrative now - 10 or 20 years later than they did when I originally recorded them."
