Watch: Chris Malinchak feat. Damon C. Scott, 'No Secrets'

It is 'No Secret' these guys are ready for a musical revolution. The official press release for this video speaks for itself:

For the past 10 years, we've had to settle with the constantly declining state of the radio and music industry. Not for much longer. From the front seat of NYC comes a silver lining, in the form of an enigmatic producer, with the enlisted vocal talent of a street busker, who spends his days performing in the city's subways. We've had to put up with overcrunched, overprocessed and overproduced musical "talent" for far too long. Because of a handful of major players in collusion with each other, it is virtually impossible to break into the radio game these days without courting a bottom feeder up. But we don't give a shit, because this is about our definition of good music. House music. This is what we call 2011, rhythmic, forward-thinking pop. Quit fooling yourself, people... are you really satisfied with ordinary pop music they design for you to like? Occupy Wall Street? Occupy Top 40 instead...

Available at iTunes, BeatPort, Amazon.

Lamb, 'Build a Fire' EP & Video & Tour

Lamb has released a new video for, 'Build a Fire,' off their latest album 5. The video release is in preparation of the Build a Fire EP due 11/5, which features mixes from LOWB (Andy’s solo project), Gaudi, Evil9 and Jonathan Boulet & Alyx Dennison. Australia has an additional mix from Domeyko Gonzalez.

On the video, the bands says,
It's not often you get to stay up all night in an urban wasteland and almost freeze to death in a backless, red silk dress with only the occasional explosion to keep you warm but this was a case in point. It does look pretty stunning though and I'd like to say a big thank you to director John Nolan, producer Ebony Maitland, hair stylist Jos Gibson and of course Tara Sugar, stylist and miracle worker who literally conjured up said silk dress out of nowhere.

5 is currently available at Amazon & iTunes. The band is currently offering the Helm remix for free at their official site.

Alanis Morissette Recording New Album

There was speculation on whether Alanis had returned to the studio to record an album or just one song, after she uploaded 'Into a King' to SoundCloud as an anniversary gift to her husband. However, she confirmed last night with a short tweet that in true Alanis fashion, the proverbial damn has broken:

back in the studio saddle....the songs have come in droves...! helmet on :)

'Into a King' was recorded with her Flavors of Entanglement collaborator Guy Sigsworth. So, it's pretty much a guarantee he is working on at least part of the album with her, if not the whole thing.

Crookers Announce New Album, 'Dr. Gonzo'

The new Crookers album, Dr.Gonzo, out October 27, has it all according to a recent press release. The usual suspects are there: house, hip hop and techno, but they are infused with dance hall, Middle Eastern music, steel drums, classic hardcore squeal, whiny violins filtered through synths, and a clear reference to early 90’s euro dance creates something unexpected.

Tracklist after the jump. Make sure you grab their previous album, target="_blank">Tons of Friends. It's one of my favorites.
